Anoyer Photos

Welcome to ANOYER'S graffiti photo gallery.

street defence mechanism since 1990

Throughout his painting career, Anoyer has never offered any of his photos for publication. This gallery contains photos and images that have never been seen before.

All artworks seen here are original and have been completed by the artist as dated. The artist Anoyer asserts his moral right to be identified as the creator and copyright owner of all images contained in this gallery.

This gallery will be updated periodically, to show a comprehensive collection of ANOYER'S art in one go would just be out of control.

The Artist has provided comments where ever possible.

A and butterfly freestyle 1994 Edwardstown SA

ARTISTS COMMENT: "This was a chance opportunity. I was going for a walk & saw some guys painting, so I stepped to them since they had so much paint & space. I just grabbed a few colours and did a small cut under a billboard, in and out in an hour. They thought it was ok - I showed them a few things."

ANE by Anoyer parts 1 and 2 1996 C.U.S.C SA

ARTISTS COMMENT: "The first two part style I did. I really liked the compact design & 'single line' style. These pieces were done using scraps of Krylon, American Accent & Plastikote."

ANOIE 'cheesycrust' 1996 C.U.S.C SA

ARTISTS COMMENT: Nick named the cheesycrust, this was a classic at the time. A real development in style, minimum fill detail - just fades & getting close to 3D. Dedicated to the world.

ARTISTS COMMENT: The first piece I did at Westbourne, the technicolour nightmare is all scraps. In an Anoyer first the melting cans at the bottom left were carried over to the next piece done on this wall- A.N.E 3D.

ARTISTS COMMENT: The spraycan was done on a board 600mm x 900mm in scraps of Dymark, Krylon & Plastikote. ANR was on a board 1200mm x 2200mm another scrap piece, character by SMIRK. A phycadellic experience.

Above:ANOYE 1998 Hustlers Pool Hall SA Below:ANOYER 1999 Westbourne Park SA

ARTISTS COMMENT: Hustler's Anoye piece is indoor and seemed to take forever 'cause of the ladder. I like the fill's atomic structure and 3D bubbles, with the radioactive outline setting it off. The Anoyer abstract piece is another scrap piece with a shout to my man DELTA MC who had just won a Freestyle comp.

Above:ANOIE 1995. Below:ANE 3D by ANOYER 1998 Black Forrest SA.

ARTISTS COMMENT: Definately one of my all time favourite board pieces the ANOIE on the left here is a scrap piece chromie with fill. Easyspray black pull-back outline, character by SMIRK. The A.N.E piece was a 3D freestyle in a friend's bedroom, done with left overs creating a crazy colour combo.

ARTISTS COMMENT: These are some of the pieces that were displayed at Browns Hair Cutters 2000/2001 Unley SA. It was cool to be invited to exhibit these paintings here, hopefully it helped to break down the barriers...but some people gots to hate no matter what.

Volatile Visions mural by ANOYER 2000 Daw Park SA

Artists Comment: "This shot depicts the city of the future, where life is a crazy techno carnival, fueled by greed and administered by Big Brother. A place where the air is unbreathable without a mask. A young boys sits atop a cliff overlooking the city and plants a single flower of hope, dreaming of just busting loose and breaking free on a BMX ."

Artists Comment: "This shot represents time and history, where have we come from and where are we going?"

ANOIER - 'The Playground' 2001

ARTISTS COMMENT: "What an epic piece, this took many months to do. I designed it in 1997, but didn't get the chance to paint it until 2001 - paint costs money you know! So anyway, this represents a dangerous kind of playground, which represents graff in a way. The melting pot shows that some ideas are for sale - if the price is right - don't make a deal too soon..... Seriously though, this mural was the time I knew that I really wanted to do some big paintings."
